Secret Life

If you tell me
your secret life
Could I understand
what a million words can't explain.

If I tell you you're alright
would it ease the pain
of a thousand lifetimes washed away?

Daylight shatters
Endless rain
Tears of Ice
Fire and Friend
The world came to an end
Yesterday.

If I hold you
more than a friend
Would you whisper soft
All the lies I am waiting to hear?

If you show me
your one desire
Would it take away
freedom of fantasy?

Spread your wings
But if you want to fly, you have to try
Be a child, forget the pain
Let it rain
The world will come to a beginning
Today.
